Based on advanced wireless
communications technology, cStar's Stealth RFID Tag is
effective, inexpensive and easy to conceal - in short,
it's poised to revolutionize the way cross-border cargo
is inspected. The Stealth RFID Tag works by alerting
customs inspection agents via wireless interface if
cargo has been tampered with at any point between the
origin of shipping and its arrival at a given border.
This technology also makes it an exceptionally efficient
method for shipping companies to track and route their
cargo. After a container has been loaded under the
supervision of authorized personnel, simply install the
Stealth RFID Tag inside the container door. The 48 inch
by 3 inch tag uses a concealed antenna, thin-film,
invisible conductive printed inks and super high-tack
adhesive, making it extremely difficult to detect once
it's been installed. The RFID Tag then communicates via
radio frequency with a SkyGate node, which in turn
transmits the signal over a wireless local area network
to a centralized Data Management Center. For security
purposes the working design of the Stealth RFID Tag is
confidential at this time.
